His portfolio to date includes, book cover art, label design, unique poster art, design and commercial property for clients such as Penguin Random House, Gill Books,  Galway Bay Brewery, Glen Hansard, Moor Art Gallery, Hero Complex Gallery, and many more.
Mark is currently the lead illustrator and graphic designer for Galway Bay Brewery, creating all new beer label art, poster art, packaging and glassware designs.
He worked closely with Glen Hansard and Overcoat Management on Swell Season’s USA tour poster.
Mark illustrated the book cover art, maps and design for The Wish Thief by Vlad Glaveanu, The Cu Chulainn of Eiru three-book series by Richard Roche and Derek Fennell, and others.
An avid film buff, Mark also developed illustrated alternative movie posters which have been commissioned by Moor Art Gallery and Hero Complex Gallery.
Mark specialises in capturing calm, introspective, wild and thought-provoking moments in his artwork with an unrestrained and varied colour palette. Using a sketchy, expressive line, he is able to humanise and personify emotions. His artwork is developed using digital techniques, but retains the charm of traditional materials and textures.
Mark has always been curious and driven, seeking out new influences and techniques to expand his knowledge of visual culture, to help bring his and his clients’ vision to the world.
Mark grew up in the Dublin mountains, studying fine art and later photography in IADT. He has travelled around the world, living abroad for two years in Hamburg, Germany, and is now settled in Rathmines, Dublin. Mark brings his life experience and love for life and art to work everyday to create meaningful, informed and polished pieces.
