Beer Label Illustration and Design
I recently designed a beer label for a Belgium Dubbel homebrew beer.
I approached the project knowing I wanted to anchor it with the migratory birds the swift and swallow. Which I have a deep affection for. So I created a label that shows both birds mid flight with a lot of action and beauty.
I approached the project knowing I wanted to anchor it with the migratory birds the swift and swallow. Which I have a deep affection for. So I created a label that shows both birds mid flight with a lot of action and beauty.
I needed to also create a logo for the micro brewery so I played with the heritage of both the brewers family names. "Foley" has an old tie to pirates and using the literal "Hill" from Mark Hill to place a pirate ship over a hill and name the brewery "Over the Hill" after the old saying.
