The Legend of Lover's Leap
Artwork I did for Haunted Ireland's The Legend of Lover's Leap. This is one of my favourite pieces for Haunted Ireland the story is a strong, sad love triangle filled with sorrow.
Like with all of the chapters I try to encapsulate the entire story in one image. Using elements and key points to steer my creative process when structuring the image. The base colour being green I used to symbolise envy, which is a huge part of the story. Yellow and blue to counter balance then. I set the seen at sunset to invoke change and the ending of things, with a main character waving, precariously on a boulder, being framed by a jewelled necklace are all strong elements from @kieranfanningauthor excellent writing.
The book is out now in all good bookstores.
