FRANKENSTEIN 1931
My alternative Frankenstein 1931 poster is finally finished. I have worked on this for a very long time. Too long, ha ha ha. I feel a great sense of achievement to get this over the line.
Having researched the story, play and film, I decided to put the main focus on the single moment when the monster felt a sense of happiness and acceptance, but with the tale of horror in the background. I have included complex symbolism of life, death, rebirth and foreboding with the placement of the butterflies and ravens, while placing Easter eggs all over.
I created this piece in Photoshop using an old Wacom tablet. At 130 layers, 32 groups and 2.51 GB, it is by far the largest piece I have ever drawn.
Let me know what you think and as always like, love, follow and share. Thanks so much for the support.
Thanks for taking the time.
